@AdobePremiere #WishListWednesday #1

The TRACK SELECTION TOOL is great for selecting everything downstream (or upstream) on a single track or all tracks in Premiere Pro CC...

TRACK SELECT and move. Boom!

But...

the option to DESELECT a clip (or clips) in this presented scenerio seemed to be missing from earlier versions of Premiere...

In legacy Final Cut Pro for instance you could SELECT all downstream clips in your project - yet a little audio clip might be extending itself into your selection - and you don't want it to move that audio clip.

In FCP7 - using the selection tool HOLD THE OPTION key also and click on that audio clip - and it becomes... DESELECTED. (you can do this to more clips as well)

In Premiere Pro CC.... I really missed this so I had added to continuing #wishlist.

BUT...

At some point it had arrived and I just didn't know it!

After you TRACK SELECT your clips in the timeline / switch to SELECTION TOOL (arrow) and HOLD THE SHIFT KEY and now you can DESELECT clip(s) from the TRACK SELECTION!

TRACK SELECTED CLIPS ---->

USE SELECTION TOOL + SHIFT to DESELECT CLIP(S)
